Discover the Riviera dei Fiori by bike
The western Ligurian Riviera is one of the most beautiful stages of the Ciclovia Tirrenica, the great cycling route that follows the coast south from Ventimiglia. Here the path runs along the bed of the old railway: a track just a few metres from the sea that winds through tunnels, beaches and villages of the Riviera dei Fiori, far from traffic.
The most famous stretch is the Coastal Park cycle path of the Riviera dei Fiori: 24 km from Ospedaletti to San Lorenzo al Mare, passing through Sanremo, Arma di Taggia, Riva Ligure and Santo Stefano al Mare, and considered one of the most scenic seaside cycle paths in Europe. From San Lorenzo the path continues uninterrupted eastwards through Imperia, Diano Marina, San Bartolomeo al Mare and Cervo all the way to Andora: 50 km of cycle path right along the coast.
The IMcompiuta: from Imperia to Diano Marina, high above the sea
And it is right here, between Imperia and Diano Marina, that the journey reaches one of its most surprising stretches: the IMcompiuta. Born from a railway line that was never completed, it is now a cycling and walking path perched above the sea that skirts Capo Berta and links Imperia to Diano Marina without meeting a single car. A piece of local history turned into an experience to enjoy by bike, ideal for families, cycle tourists and sports lovers.

For guests of Hotel Sasso, all of this is just a pedal stroke away: set off from the hotel and choose your direction, east towards Cervo and Andora or west towards Imperia and Sanremo. In the evening, return to the peace of Diano Marina, with its seafront promenade, town centre and beaches.
